Yeah it's worthwhile to the exclusive and multiplatform buyer....oh and the better OS buyer....maybe the buyer who likes doing more than one thing seamlessly on the same screen that most smartphones, computers, and tablets have been doing for years.
Ps4 gamers have the better grass tho....it's all that matters because consoles aren't supposed to meet todays standard in device efficiency. It's all about the primitive one task at a time without choice that everyo...
What PS4 can't do is seamlessly put you into the game if lets say your watching Netflix or browsing the web.
This game has changing events....so I'm thinking there may be some sort of notification that tells your ass get in here to win some phat loots.
Even so for matchmaking and maintenance if built on dedicated XBL servers it can be tweaked with no downtime to keep the always changing missions and world a reality without updates.
There's room to improve with the Xbox OS but it has the template set to be the best UI on consoles.
I'm pretty sure X1 will have a dash update and there's lots of potential with the 3 OS set up on Xbox One.
A short term solution would be a task manager app via snap to stay on top of what you're running I think that may help...but to be honest I think it's just all about optimization.
The Xbox One was made to power another...
DX12 can play a major roll. If EA can port select titles from select last gen titles that were made for PC and make them only accessible through EA access then we have winner a BIG winner.
Glad to see the SDK putting in work. I'm liking the clear direction Microsoft are taking for its devices...if I didn't have 10yrs at Viacom I'd actually think about working for their corporate offices but I'll stick to orchestrating content that makes TV watchers remain brainwashed idiots that believe 90% of reality tv is not 100% staged.
Not all TVs hav PIP and for mine it doesn't work as intended. It shrinks my main screen to much and disables Game Mode which decreases input lag and then there's no sound mixer.
That's why I'm a huge fan of snap
Looks the same despite brightness and contrast differences.
But with Destiny dropping in the football season I'll be snapping my games and grinding for loot to stay competitive.
So Xbox One for me regardless of the minuscule differences.
Fact #6 Ps4 renders grass and shadows better.
Fact #7 Ps4 can't multitask a YouTube app or do much simultaneously making it inferior in design and overall capabilities.
Basic rebuttal is "I didn't buy a game console for that"
Neither did I but my games look just as good and my console does a hell of a lot more in it's infancy then the competitors will do in its lifetime due to restrictions and poor software maintenance....
The hate is strong..
If not of all time...it will be one of THE GREATEST..
The fluid quality of the games movements to the UI truly shine in a way that shows Bungies perfected playform.
This is not only a great title this is years of knowledge if you miss out that is a shame.
Nothing on consoles come close...
I'm not talking pixel pecking and frame farming...I'm talking art style, scope, variety,dialo...
A clear 50% difference between those twigs on that tree.
Looks the same...and I'm not sure if this guy uses full RGB and 32bit color depth because what I'm playing puts both versions in this comparison to shame
Good waste of a bubble...
But yeah that about sums it up...the gpu resources from kinect to DX12 are all things the Xbox one was supposed to launch with...in 2014.
Rushed product with Mattricks vision
The X1 has an entire different structure with coprocessors for video, graphics , audio whereas at this time are inaccessible.
I believe it's a part of the update over time strengthening the X1 department has been doing.
X1 launched with incomplete tools and methods...in time I believe things will be even in the X1 favor
Lol...Sniper Elite 3 used as some kind of life defining proof. A not graphically demanding game probably ported without the June SDK or anything living in esram.
The one with Dreamcast
Those updates aren't substantial.
And apps like Machinima and achievement snapping make gaming a whole lot more interesting and robust.
That's a lot more than better grass and shadows.
Do graphics only matter?
I find the OS and features of the XB1 trump the Ps4s bar none. In terms of speed...multitasking....suppor t through updates and the foundation that the X1 can build upon
Mind you none of these comparisons have noticeable differences...nor will the rest of this gen. Its all on paper fluff.
So I'm just gonna pick up where I left on Sniper Elite 3 after watching Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube for a week with no loading i...
The hate is strong..
The sku dropped on the 9th that's Damn near 1/3 of the month in.
So doubled sales post E3 and price drop.
We've reached that point folks neither console will be outselling each other by many until holiday time or price drops in the US.
Everyone's hung up on these sales when at the end of this generation sales stagnate and end up in an arms length situation
As I've said before.
Only game so far bringing next-generation experience is Quantum Break....if the real-time molecular destruction can be manipulated as Remedy claims.
Resolutions and framerates have minuscule differences between platforms and I seriously doubt we will see any situations where it will ruin a platform players experience.
In fact my experience on Xbox is more enjoyable due to snapping and on the fly multitasking including...
I believe full Xbox 360 backwards capabilities for Xbox one will be here soon.
It reads the DVD9 and renders the title from the cloud...no having to rent at retarded rates, play the games you own, keep 360 physical and digital sales in the loop and falls right in line with DX12s 2day porting possibilities from Xbox to PC and vice versa.
The gap exists on paper.
Looking at actually good coded games your gap is a sharp edge under a leaf in the background...that may need a microscope to find.
What will last this gen is fanboys using small differences and exaggerating it as if it is night and day when its truly nothing significant.
